Looking forward to see what Sbisa and Hansen bring. I honestly think you can squeeze six more years of Honey Badger hockey from JH at a very good salary cap. I think he has one of the best contracts in the game.

Sbisa would be a welcome sight to have a breakout year. I doubt it very much but it would be nice to see a player in his age range stp up

She's going into grade 11 with a gold and three more Olympic medals. Absolutely mind blowing.

BOlt has sure changed his perception in the last 8 years.

Remember the criticism he took for being cocky?

Now he's still cocky, but he's lovable at the same time. He's just that good, and he knows it, but he carries himself with class. Treats his competitors, fans and media with total respect and has fun while still being super competitive.

Great to see.

Thankfully the Olympics are over. Now can we please get on to discussing how great Gary's WCH will be and the impending scandals on concussions and potential career ending injuries in a tournament we don't need are? Oh geez it's not Tuesday

Good list!

For me, I'd add De Grasse's runs, especially his anchor leg in the 4x100 relay.

And the Canadian wrestler, Erica Wiebe, who hoisted her coach up on her shoulders and scampered up the stairs to celebrate like it was nothing after she won gold. Comes at about the 1:00 mark.

The Weibe was hilarious . Wife and I laughed hard.

I don't know why I am not elated with the DeGrasse. I should be but for an unexplainable reason I'm not .

Good list, but you gotta add some De Grasse to it!

The only thing I didn't like about the CBC coverage was the over the top "bromance" reporting between the sprinters. Whenever Bolt was asked about it in interviews he'd downplay it (cite their Puma sponsorships), but the Canadian media kept acting like they were best of friends. It was a little too needy, IMO.

Yeah I know. I think it was because he was expected to have success. The others seemed to come from out of nowhere.

I have to say I didn't like the bromance. I want my athlete head down giving it all crossing the finish line, not posing for pix. Seemed a little too chummy for my liking.

I was disappointed on the water with the canoes and kayaks

They did a fantastic job!

All your points are spot on! We enjoyed the Olympics a lot more than we thought we would. Also, we are now, huge Rugby Sevens fans!
